AS the country counts down to the Olympics, sport-themed art will be taking centre stage at an Oxford gallery.
The BT Art of Sport exhibition will run at the O3 Gallery in Oxford Castle from Saturday.
It shows sculpture, paintings and photography from 10 leading UK artists who worked with Team GB athletes to produce their work.
It attempts to convey their thoughts in the run-up to the games.
Gallery manager Helen Statham said: “We are very proud to be hosting the official BT artists for the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic games.
“The Art of Sport exhibition is set to be a stunning visual showcase of the Olympic mindset.”
The exhibition will run until Sunday, April 29.
