A 53-YEAR-OLD man was given a suspended jail term for possessing thousands of images of child pornography.
Ian Philip was sentenced at Oxford Crown Court on Friday after admitting three counts of making indecent photographs.
Philip, of Queens Road, Carterton, was given an eight-month prison term, suspended for two years.
He must also take part in two years’ supervision, sign the sex offender register for 10 years, comply with a sexual offences prevention order indefinitely and pay £250 costs.
