WATLINGTON: A memorial service for former county councillor Roger Belson, who died on Boxing Day aged 62, will take place in London on Wednesday, March 21 at 3pm.
It will be held at the Guards Chapel at Wellington Barracks.
The former Irish Guards major was left paralysed by a car crash 22 years ago, and was the director of Regain, a charity which supports people paralysed from sporting injuries, for more than 15 years.
A minute’s silence was held in the County Hall council chamber at the start of Friday’s budget meeting.
