WOMEN'S FOOTBALL
Tower Hill had to work hard for a 4-0 victory over Buckingham Athletic in round two of the Thames Valley Women’s League Cup.
It was goalless at half-time, but Sarah Snowdon eased Tower’s nerves with the opener.
Jess Witcher, Nic Warner and Lisa Freeman completed the win, although Tower keeper Mel Gilbert was called upon to make some good saves.
