ROYAL British Legion stalwart Jim Lewendon was concerned last week Armistice Day was not attracting the observation it once did.
We hope the seemingly record turnout in Oxford and Abingdon for Remembrance Sunday yesterday reassures him the public still hold the sacrifice of our personnel in all conflicts closely to their hearts.
