A NEW Christian animal welfare group has been formed to serve the Diocese of Oxford.
The group is affiliated with the Anglican Society for the Welfare of Animals, of which the Bishop of Oxford, the Right Rev John Pritchard, is a patron.
The Oxford group will hold its next meeting in January in Goring. The group plans to offer support to churches in the diocese that would like to address animal welfare issues in services or study groups.
