Pierre Lefort’s 6-49 for Witney Mills was not enough as Bledlow Village scraped home by three wickets. Earlier, Pete Claridge (31) was the only visiting batsman to get going as Mills crumbled to 119 all out against Chris Spooner (4-14), Matt Pearce (3-30) and James Shirley (3-38)

Oxford Downs 2nd are the only unbeaten side in the division after they saw off Twyford by five wickets. Steve Roberts took 3-78 in 26 overs as Twyford compiled 208-8, Tanveer Nadeem contributing 64 not out. Paddy Daniel then nurdled 78 not out and Liverpudlian newcomer Nick Rivett hit 60 as Downs reached 210-5.

Nick Moorman’s patient 37 proved vital for Bicester & North Oxford, who painstakingly put together 153 against Kingston Bagpuize. Kingston were stitting pretty on 74-3 after 20 overs, but Stephen West (5-59) and Richard Simpson (4-27) engineered a collapse that saw the visitors slump to 135 all out just as heavy rain arrived.

Bledlow Ridge all-rounder Paul Brzezicki snaffled 6-55 as Cropredy crashed to 123 all out. Henry Hale then hammered 63 as Ridge romped to 125-3 in the 27th over.

Edward Willmot took 4-6 as Hanborough gave Dinton 2nd a hiding. The visitors were bowled out for only 98 in response to the hosts’ 214-7, of which opener Andrew Oliver contributed 63 and Matthew Gorman 62.
