A KNIFE-wielding robber snatched cash from staff in a betting shop before running off.
The robber, wearing a motorbike helmet, walked into Ladbrokes in London Road, Headington, Oxford, with the blade and ordered a member of staff to put cash into a bag.
He then ran off.
No-one was injured in the raid, which happened at about 9.55pm on Thursday.
Police are appealing for witnesses. It is not known how much cash was stolen.
No-one at Ladbrokes was available to comment as the Oxford Mail went to press last night.
Pc Charlie Ellis, from Thames Valley Police’s Oxford robbery team, said: “Thankfully, nobody was injured during the incident.
“I appeal to anyone who was in Headington and saw a man wearing a motorbike helmet acting suspiciously to contact police immediately.”
The same shop was raided in December 2009 when a man brandishing a gun went into the bookmakers and told a member of staff to hand over cash.
