A TEENAGER hanged herself in her back garden after battling depression and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), an inquest heard.
Rebecca Bridges, 18, was pronounced dead in the garden after a neighbour in Ashby Road, Bicester, raised the alarm on March 24 last year.
Miss Bridges’ GP, Dr Isabel Chu, told Oxfordshire Coroner’s Court yesterday the teenager had struggled with a “two-year history of worsening OCD”.
Dr Chu said Miss Bridges had been diagnosed with severe depression in the month before her death.
Coroner Nicholas Gardiner recorded a verdict that she took her own life.
