I had quite a surprise when I went into the Vodafone shop in Cornmarket recently, to find it occupied by protesters, who were blockading the door with a banner.

At first I was annoyed, but they handed me a leaflet alleging that Vodafone have had nearly £6bn in tax written off by the Government (something the company denies).

Why does Keith Mitchell tell us there is no alternative to cuts to libraries and youth centres, when, if not Vodaphone, some other companies are not expected to pay their fair share of tax?

I have to pay my tax, so why don’t they?
