Milton United boosted their Division 1 East promotion prospects with a five-star display at Finchampstead, thanks to a hat-trick from Ross Butler.

The visitors led through Butler’s penalty after Paul Sanders was felled by keeper ???.

Five minutes before the break, Milton doubled their lead Butler headed in a great cross from Warren McCabe.

Milton dominated the second half, with Sanders making it 3-0 with a penalty, with McCabe heading No 4.

The rout was sealed when Butler sealed his treble from the spot after Adam Greenaway was fouled.

Clanfield 6 (Mays 8, 68, 73, Dixon 10, Bishop 47, Lewis 50)

A Craig Mays treble helped Clanfield move to within four points of the top two of Division 1 West with an easy win.

Clanfield took the lead when Steve Olphert sent Mays clear to round the goalkeeper and slide home.

Then Danny Dixon turned inside before finding the bottom corner.

Clanfield increased their lead when Dan Bishop fired in from 25 yards, before Kevin Lewis made it 4-0.

Lewis sent Craig Mays clear for his second and Clanfield’s fifth.

The striker then completed his hat-trick with a tidy finish.

Late on Launton’s misery was compounded when Dan Coggins was sent off for collecting two bookings.

Letcombe 2 (Pendell 74, 86)

Letcombe got back to winning ways with an excellent win. They went ahead just before half time when goalkeeper Alisdair Ross parried Adam Pendell’s header and Pendell drove the ball in from close range.

The result was put beyond doubt when Brind was brought down by Lee Bowen, who was handed a red card card, before Pendell drove home the penalty.
