A TEENAGER who said she was raped by an MoD corporal told jurors she was too shocked to fight him off.

The girl, who was 17 at the time of the alleged attack in January, gave evidence on the second day of a trial at Oxford Crown Court yesterday.

Scott Atkins, 28, who was based at RAF Benson, denies rape.

The complainant told the jury she was grabbed and forced upstairs by Atkins as she went to the toilet at a disco.

She said she repeatedly told him to stop before he pulled down her trousers and had sex with her.

She said: “He kept saying ‘look at me’, but I couldn’t because I just felt disgusted.”

The woman, who admitted not shouting for help, said she had drunk three single, and one double, vodka and cokes and half a bottle of Jacques fruit cider that night.

In cross-examination Adrian Amer, for the defence, asked her: “Did you actually hit him or kick him, or struggle?”

“No,” she replied. “I tried to get away, that’s about it. I’m not a person who goes out to hurt somebody. I was in shock, I just didn’t move at all.”

Mr Amer added: “What about kicking him?”

She answered: “My legs were solid, frozen.”

The trial continues.
