Rover Cowley showed their Premier Division title intentions with a resounding 5-0 victory over Oxford Yellows, who went crashing to their first defeat, writes TIM SIRET.

Gary Brookes cracked a double for Rover with Carl Bloomfield, Luke Bremner and Ryan Macer also contributing to the win.

Barton United went top after hammering a hapless AFC Woodfarm 12-2.

Andrew Masey, Tom Frank-lin, Colin Ryan and Tyrone Brackett all struck doubles, with Liam O’Callaghan, Kieran Saunders, Jay Morris and Julian McCalmon all getting in on the act.

James Howard and Malache Charles replied.

Neil Lockhart scored a brace as Kings Arms Wheatley defeated Childrey OHB 5-1.

Luke Cuss, substitute Ben Curtis – with his first touch – and Darren Smith completed the tally. Steve Doman replied.

Dorchester United gained their first victory, edging past winless AFC Cowley 3-2, thanks to a late goal – his second – from Brian Rawlings.

Ian Marshall also scored for Dorchester, with Dominic Bruno and Andrew Smith on target for Cowley.

Kennington United opened up a four-point lead at the top of Division 1 with a 2-0 win at rivals Kidlington Royals, Tony Booker and Mark Druce hitting the target.

Donnington’s in-form striker Lee Spencer hit another four goals in his side’s 7-0 win over Wallingford Keys.

Aaron Barrett, Andrew Conway and Lewis Colwell also scored.

Masons Arms outgunned Chalgrove 6-3 – Jamie McCualy grabbing a treble.

Paul Hedger, Anthony Simpson and Mark Whipp also found the net.

Chalgrove’s goals came from Simon Godfrey, Nick Skiller and a corner that flew straight in from Lee Cantwell.

Veteran Pete Saxell was forced to turn out for ten-man Standlake Garage against OUP Wanderers – four mon-ths before his 65th birthday!

Wanderers won 11-1 – the second successive game that Garage have leaked 11 goals.

Luke Murphy smashed a hat-trick for OUP, the other goals coming from Alex Garth, Jay Brown, Wayne St-Clair, Lee Constable, Kyle Harris, Tom Payne, Dean Williams and Jack Mort. Mike Duerden found the net for the losers.
