Another accident? Thats what, 4 in a year or so at Bicester? How long before one comes down and kills people on the ground?
Condolences to those who have lost a loved one but its getting rediculous

In answer to "Pokey" who expresses concern over the "Four" in a year accidents at Bicester Airfield, There was only one accident that occured to one of our members.
The first accident was to a visiting pilot in a powered aircraft which was owned by him and was not a club member.
The second was an aircraft en route from Northampton (Sywell) airfield to Popham airfield who experienced engine problems and tried to divert into Bicester. Our only connection with this accident was contacting the emergency services.
The tragic accident at the weekend was to a visiting pilot with her own aircraft. My thoughts go to her family at this time, but I must stress that gliding is NOT a ridiculously dangerous sport, accidents in gliding are rare and there is very little danger of gliders raining from the skies onto people's houses.
Thousands of flights are conducted each year in the UK in perfect safety.
