A 22-year-old has died after being stabbed during an altercation outside the Que Pasa bar in Oxford.
The incident happened at the junction of Queen Street and Castle Street at about 3am this morning.
A 16-year-old has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
The 22-year-old man was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital for treatment to his injuries, where he was later pronounced dead.
Det Insp Simon Morton said: “We have officers out speaking to people in the community to reassure them that everything that can be done is being done.
“This incident has happened at a busy time and I know there would have been lots of people around who will have seen what happened.
“I would urge anyone who witnessed this incident, or who may have any information about this crime, to come forward and speak to us as soon as possible.”
