MORE than 100 youngsters put their best feet forward to help raise funds for their new football ground.
Members of Poppleton Junior Football Club took part in a fun run as part of their ongoing campaign to raise cash for their new pitches.
In June this year, the club - which has 277 boy and girl members - bought a ten-acre site in Millfield Lane to develop new pitches for its under-sevens to under-16s teams.
But club members still have to raise thousands of pounds before they can play in grand style.
So youngsters did their bit by hot-footing it from the village's community centre.
