MORRELLS OF OXFORD SUNDAY LEAGUE ROUND-UP: Wayne Blossom hit a six-timer as Highfield thrashed Star Royal 9-2 in the Premier Division,.

Blossom, who also turns out for Banbury United every Saturday in the Dr Martens League Eastern Division, was ably assisted in the rout by Dave Anderson, Sam Donaldson and Ryan Lewis, who got one each.

Karl Brown netted a brace for Star, while keeper Simon Parsons was in brilliant form to prevent Highfield reaching double figures with some excellent saves.

Star Wanderers overcame Rose Hill 3-0, thanks to Lee Keyes, Craig Simpson and Andy King.

Cowley Cosmos handed leaders Blackbird Leys Sunday a 4-3 defeat, with Colin Paterson scoring a hat-trick.

Blackbird weren't helped by the dismissal of their keeper in the first few minutes of the game.

Paterson netted the resulting penalty and Yomy Ola gave Cosmos the lead.

Blackbird then nosed in front with three quick strikes, but a Paterson double, including another penalty and a 35-yard free kick, sealed Cowley's victory.

North Oxford Conservative Club got off to a flying start in Division 1 at Six Bells Kidlington when John Andrews netted, but couldn't prevent Bells going to the top of the table with a 5-2 victory.

Six Bells hit back in style, their five-goal haul including a hat-trick from Fraser Gills.

Craig Bloomfield scored North's other goal.

In Division 2, Woodchip Wanderers won 3-2 at Arncott, despite twice going behind.

Andy Nicholas grabbed the equaliser after Matthew Todd had given Arncott the lead, only for Woodchip's player-manager Ben Davies to turn Steve Beard's cross into his own net.

Davies's luck was summed up when he gave away a penalty.

Fortunately, keeper Robert Baughan saved his manager's blushes, with Keith Frendo and Robin Trinder earning Woodchip the points.

Northway took full advantage of a depleted Donnington Hotspur with a 4-2 victory, Karl Gray hitting a brace.

Their other goals came from Chris Baker and Warren Bustin.

Northway's goals came from Rory Barrett and Andy Hooper.

Rick Hastings netted a hat-trick and Mattie Prince grabbed the other.

A goal from substitute Aaron Templar sealed a 1-0 win for Mason Exiles against Athletico BST in Division 5.
