Goodwill fostered between the British and American communities during the Queen's Golden Jubilee year will live on in a north Oxfordshire village.

Celebrations in the summer brought together residents of Caversfield, near Bicester, and US Air Force personnel based at nearby RAF Croughton.
Money raised during the Jubilee celebrations paid for two seats, which have now been installed on the village recreation field.
One has a plaque recording the gift of a seat from Americans living in the village who work at the communications base at RAF Croughton, and the other marks the village's contribution.
Parish council chairman Odette Phipps said: "We all had such a good time when we combined to celebrate the Jubilee in June, and enough money was raised, so we decided to give the seats. They have been placed on the recreation area where the two communities can meet."
The village has many former MoD properties and an estate was also built by the US government.
