Oxon Senior League: Kidlington Old Boys turned the form book upside down with a sensational five-goal victory against Premier Division favourites Rover Cowley to win the Presidents Cup final.

More than 200 spectators saw Nick East give Old Boys a half-time lead after good work from Todd Parker Hunt.

The second half started with Rover enjoying much more possession, but Parker Hunt scored a quickfire double to take the match firmly away from Rover.

Danny Morris notched a close-range volley and Scott Warburton completed the rout with a header.

This was the first leg of a possible cup double for Old Boys, who host Bletchingdon in the Charity Cup final at the end of this month.

Meanwhile, Danny Leggett smashed a second-half four-timer as Oxford University Press battled back to beat Premier Division rivals Marston Saints 5-2.

Marston took the lead with a goal inside the six-yard box from George Glowdansky.

However, OUP hit back when Steven Gray fired home after Andy Clarke in the Marston goal could only parry his initial shot.

In the second half, Leggett fired OUP ahead with the first of his tally with a fine shot inside the area.

He then glanced home a header at the far post from a Steve McMahon, before he completed his hat-trick with a free kick.

He bagged his fourth with an excellent drive into the top right-hand corner.

Late on, Wayne Duckett clawed a goal back for Saints.

Andrew Style grabbed a double as Rover Cowley came back from a goal down in style to beat Haddenham United 5-1.

Matt Leach put Haddenham ahead, before Rover hit back through Styles's brace, Ronnie Williams, his son Lance, and an own goal.

Top-of-the-table BCS Bardwell crushed Kings Sutton 5-0 in Division 1, with all the goals coming in the second half. Peter Allison slammed a hat-trick and Jason Bedford two goals.

In Division 2B, Mark Robins hit a hat-trick as Launton Sports Res won 6-1 at Long Crendon Res.

Ashley Payne opened the scoring, before Adji Barker (2) and Robins, with his first, gave Sports a 4-0 lead, only for Crendon to net just before half time.

After the break, Robins completed his treble.
