Teenager is stabbed in abdomen

A 19-year-old man was stabbed in the abdomen in an incident involving two other men in Agnes Court, off Oxford Road, Cowley, at about 7.30pm on Thursday.

Police described one suspect as 20 years old, about 6ft tall, of medium build and of mixed race.

The other was described as black, of large build, and about 6ft 3in tall.

Det Insp Simon Morton said: “The victim sustained a small wound to his abdomen and was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital where he was later discharged.

“I appeal to anyone who was in this area of Cowley on Thursday evening and saw two men acting suspiciously, or saw the attack take place, to contact police immediately.”
