TRAIN services on Sunday will be affected by engineering work on two of the county’s main Rail routes.

First Great Western and CrossCountry services north of Oxford will be replaced by Buses, due to track renewal work.

Buses will run to Bicester Town, Banbury and Hanborough, from where a shuttle train service will run on the Cotswold Line to Worcester. These routes will also be closed the following Sunday.

The Chiltern Line will be closed between Haddenham & Thame Parkway, Bicester North and Banbury, with replacement buses in operation.

Wrexham & Shropshire trains will be diverted on an alternative route and will not call at Banbury.
