Woman mugged near Littlemore underpass (From Oxford Mail)

A 20-year-old woman was mugged near an underpass in Littlemore.

The woman was in Priory Road at 8.50pm on Saturday when a man grabbed her handbag from behind and fled towards Falcon Close.

The robber was about 5ft 11in tall and wearing a dark blue hooded top.

Not quite sure what underpass runs from Minchery Farm to The Leys, but if there is one I think it is best to steer clear.

perhaps they meant the railway bridge, you know what these reporters are like with their general knowledge
