Police and firefighters at house fire


POLICE have been called to assist firefighters dealing with a blaze in Netherton, near Fyfield.

Thames Valley Police was called at 6.32pm to help deal with traffic issues arising from the blaze in a thatched property.

A police spokesman said there had been no reported injuries.

Dear oh dear, you really don't read things properly do you Pierre? "Traffic Issues". It means directing traffic to allow firefighting equipment to get through and to close roads etc if it is deemed too dangerous for vehicles/people to use due to the fire. Not to mention the fact that a fire could always be due to arson, which is a criminal matter that the Police would need to investigate. But I suppose you won't read this properly either anyway so I'm probably wasting my time again. Oh well....
