The under-threat Marston Royal British Legion Club in Oxford is holding a Boxing Day children’s party.

The club in Hadow Road has been given a stay of execution to trade through Christmas and New Year but stills need to raise more than £37,000 to pay off its debt to HM Revenue and Customs.

The party will run from 1pm to 6pm.

Tickets are £2 for adults and £1 for children.
