CROPREDY A sealed the Division 3 title in the Banbury Indoor League as they hammered closest rivals Marston St Lawrence by 74 runs.
Nerves seemed to get to Marston’s young side as their opponents rattled up 119-4 from their ten overs, Ed Somerton leading the charge with 45 not out.
Marston’s reply lasted only six overs as they crashed to 46 all out, but they too are promoted to Division 2 next season.
Deddington must seek re-election, but ended the campaign in style, beating Hinton by six wickets.
Steve Faulkner and Steve Welsh saw them home in 8.3 overs, Welsh having taken 3-13 in Hinton’s total of 62.
Broughton will also need to be re-elected after a 35-run defeat to Middleton Cheney condemned them to bottom place.
Cameron Geekie hit 30 not out as Charlbury A totalled 100-1 against Preston Capes A, who got home by two wickets with an over to spare.
