Fish deaths remain mystery

What caused the death of 10,000 fish in the River Thames remains a mystery.

An Environment Agency spokesman said that tests on water samples revealed the fish did not die as a result of pollution or disease.

The perch and ruffe were found near the river intake at Farmoor Reservoir on Thursday, November 12.
