Man accused of throwing roadworks sign at car

A 20-YEAR-OLD man accused of throwing a roadworks sign at a moving car has been bailed.

Sean English, of Sherwood Place, Barton, appeared at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on Friday and denied a charge of causing danger to road users.

He did not enter a plea on an additional charge of causing criminal damage.

The charges relate to an incident in Iffley Road, East Oxford, on August 10.

English was released on bail to return to the court on January 8.
