A 46-year-old man today appeared in court accused of robbing a 101-year-old man in Oxford.
Stephen Gillespie, of Goose Green Close, Wolvercote, appeared at the city's crown court, charged with robbing Polish-born Second World War veteran Kazimierz Michalski at his home in Summertown.
Gillespie was remanded in custody and ordered to return to the court to enter a plea on Monday, June 1.
