The Faringdon and District Branch of the Royal British Legion formed a Guard of Honour for three soldiers repatriated at the weekend.
More than 50 people attended the A420 lay-by at Folly HIll, near Faringdon, on Saturday as the soldiers, who were killed in Afghanistan, were brought from RAF Lyneham in Wiltshire to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.
Hundreds of people also lined the high street in Wootton Bassett, Wiltshire, as hearses passed carrying the Union Flag-draped coffins of Royal Engineers Corporal Dean John and Corporal Graeme Stiff, both attached to the 1st The Queen's Dragoon Guards, and Lance Corporal Chris Harkett, of 2nd Battalion The Royal Welsh.
