Parking chaos

With regard to JR Alexander's letter (Where are commuters supposed to park?', Times Letters, January 10), there are other sides to the question.

There are those of us who live immediately around Burnt Oak station.

Within the next hour or so [of the morning rush hour], these roads are full of cars parked by people from other areas who use the station to go to work in London or elsewhere.

When we return from work, we cannot park our cars until these commuters return from work around 7pm. During the day, tradesmen cannot park their large vans to deliver goods and ambulances have to park in the middle of the road.
