Two teenagers appeared at Oxford Crown Court today to deny robbing and attacking an Oxford University student.

Thomas Mack, of Nicholas Avenue, Marston, and Craig Knowles, of Oxford Road, Old Marston, both 18, denied charges of wounding with intent and robbery.

The charges relate to an alleged attack on Japanese student Kentaro Ikeda, 26, who was found with a fractured skull early on July 31, on a cycle path near Marston Ferry Road.

The accused were remanded in custody until their trial, which is due to start on February 2 next year.
