The trial of a man accused of plotting arson attacks on Oxford University has been postponed for a second time.
Mel Broughton, of Semilong Road in Northampton, was due to stand trial at Oxford Crown Court today accused of conspiracy to commit arson, possession of an article with intent to destroy property and keeping an explosive sub stance with intent.
A jury was standing by to be sworn in for a trial but the case was adjourned instead until August.
The trial of the 47-year-old was originally due to start last week but was adjourned after a defence request for more time.
