Police were called to Banbury Railway Station twice on Saturday after a high demand for cabs to the Gatecrasher Festival in Westbury caused tempers to flare.

At 2.30pm officers resolved a minor disturbance between what was believed to be an unlicensed cab driver and licensed drivers, a Thames Valley Police spokesman said.

Three officers returned to the station at 4.55pm to resolve complaints about 13 cabs blocking access to the station for buses and other vehicles, the spokesman added.
