Two houses were burgled in the same road in Faringdon last week.
Jewellery was stolen from a house in Beech Close, between 8pm on Monday, February 18 and 11.35am on Saturday, February 23.
Burglars also broke into another house in Beech Close and stole jewellery between 2pm on Friday, February 22, and 9.15pm on Sunday, February 24.
Dc Chris Leech said "We are investigating both of these burglaries and believe they are linked. A witness saw a suspicious black car in the area and I am appealing to anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity, or the car, to contact the police."
