A father-of-two who headbutted a man at a wedding reception was handed an eight-month jail sentence, suspended for two years.

On Friday, Oxford Crown Court heard Nigel Osmond, 35, admit grievous bodily harm against Christopher Pitts at the Weston Manor Hotel in Weston-on-the- Green, near Bicester, last May.

Osmond, of Birnbeck Road, Weston-Super-Mare, was also ordered to do 150 hours' community work and pay £474 costs and £500 compensation.
