An event aimed at raising money for research into cystic fibrosis will be held at Oxford Castle on Saturday, March 8.
A 'Fright Night' will be held at the former jail - and organiser Catherine Upstone, whose three-year-old daughter Cerys suffers from cystic fibrosis - is hoping to raise £3,000 for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
She said: "It's the first time that the Cystic Fibrosis Trust has held such an event.
"We'll be joined by some paranormal experts, and ghost-hunting experts, and we also have access to certain parts of the castle that aren't normally open to the public. It's exciting and new, it's just a different opportunity to raise funds."
It will run between 10am and 7pm and Mrs Upstone is hoping about 35 people, the limit in terms of space, will join in.
To take part, people must pay a booking fee of £25 and then raise sponsorship for the event.
For more information, call Mrs Upstone on 07720 60-5231 or email catherine.u@tiscali.co.uk
