Become a superhero for the day in a colour fun run and help raise funds for two local charities Play2Give and Style Acre.

Run, wheel, walk or fly at Boundary Park on the Great Western Park estate, Didcot, and get covered with vibrant powder at two colour stations along the fun run route.

The charity fun day will raise funds for people with learning disabilities and autism supported by Oxfordshire-based Style Acre, while funds raised for Didcot fundraising organisation Play2Give will benefit a number of local causes including young carers in the town and adults with brain injuries helped by Headway.

The event is open to everyone of all abilities from children, parents, grandparents, people Style Acre support and anyone from the community as an all-inclusive disability friendly charity fun day

The day will also include a bouncy castle, refreshments including ice cream van and a bar, a food van, a tombola and raffle and music, supported by AV Events.

Angels Performing Arts will provide energetic warm-ups and dazzling dance routines to bring a spot of extra zest to the day, and Didcot’s Tesco and Pure Gym are also supporting.

Those taking part should put their all into their superhero outfit as there will also be a prize for the best dressed superhero fancy dress.

The fun day will take place on August 22 at Great Western Park. Entries are now open and can be purchased online: styleacre.org.uk/events/superherocolour-fun-run
