The latest list of convictions from Oxford Magistrates Court

DEAN GOLDSMITH, 39, of Old London Road, Chipping Norton, was convicted of using a vehicle without insurance and driving without a licence in Hook Norton Road, Great Rollright on February 28. Fined £880, must pay a victim surcharge of £66 and court costs of £85. Disqualified from driving for six months.

KALEIGH JOHNSON, 32, of Columbine Gardens, Oxford, was convicted of using a vehicle without insurance in London Road, Headington on February 24. Fined £660, must pay a victim surcharge of £66 and court costs of £85. Disqualified from driving for six months.

REXHEP LALA, 36, of Silkdale Close, Oxford, was convicted of stealing goods worth £544.90 from TK Maxx in Between Towns Road, Oxford on July 29. Fined £400, must pay a victim surcharge of £40 and court costs of £85.

AIDEN OWEN LEE, 19, of Denny Gardens, Oxford, admitted causing criminal damage to a telephone worth £78 belonging to Thames Valley Police at Abingdon Police Station on August 11. Fined £50, must pay compensation of £78, a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £50.

THOMAS ANDREW MCARTHUR, 25, of Evenlode Crescent, Kidlington admitted drink driving in Woodstock Road, Yarnton on July 30. Had 76 mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, exceeding the limit of 35mcg. Fined £400, must pay a victim surcharge of £40 and court costs of £85. Disqualified for 18 months.

GARY THOMAS MITCHELL, 28, of Heyford Close, Standlake, admitted drink-driving in Long Tow, Abingdon on July 29. Had 83mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, exceeding the limit of 35mcg. Fined £750, must pay a victim surcharge of £75 and court costs of £85. Disqualified from driving for 36 months.

LEE CRAIG SMITH, 27, of Stansfield Place, Oxford, admitted drink driving in Barnes Road, Oxford on July 27. Had 72mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, exceeding the limit of 35mcg. Fined £500, must pay a victim surcharge of £50 and court costs of £85. Disqualified from driving for 18 months.

PAUL WILLIAMS, 50, of St Nicholas Park, Old Marston admitted stealing two bottles of rum worth £30 from Sainsburys supermarket in Oxford on June 12. Also admitted stealing two bottles of gin worth £30 from Sainsburys supermarket in Oxford on July 16. Discharged conditionally for 12 months, must pay compensation of £30, a victim surcharge of £20 and court costs of £50.

DAVID HETHERINGTON, 42, of Savile Way, Grove, admitted being drunk and disorderly in a public place in Pembroke Street, Oxford on July 28. Fined £100, must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85.

TAIMUR MALL, 23, of Maple Road, Bicester, was convicted of using a vehicle without insurance on the B4100 at Bicester on January 1. Fined £125, must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £100. Six penalty points.

SONIA MCBLAIN, 36, of Coriander Way, Oxford, was convicted of assaulting a man by beating him in Oxford on January 13. Fined £180, must pay compensation of £50, a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £250.

ADRIAN JOHN WOODLEY, 38, of Arnold Road, Oxford, was convicted of racially aggravated harassment, alarm or distress in Oxford on December 3. Community order made and he was placed under electronic curfew between 8pm and 3.30am daily for six weeks. Must pay compensation of £250, a victim surcharge of £85 and court costs of £400.

MUHAMMAD SARFRAZ AKHTAR, 31, of Blenheim Way, Horspath, was convicted of failing to give information relating to the identity of a driver suspected of committing an offence between February 19 and March 19. Fined £660, must pay a victim surcharge of £66 and court costs of £85. Six penalty points.
