FOLK legend Peggy Seeger is to visit Blackwell’s Bookshop to discuss her autobiography.
The singer, who lives in Oxford, will be at the Broad Street store on Friday, September 14 from 7pm to discuss First Time Ever: A Memoir.
With Ewan MacColl she helped to lay the foundations of the British folk revival and inspired one of the 20th century’s most popular love songs, The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face.
Ms Seeger will be in conversation with Geoff Smith, music lover and promoter and the force behind Holywell Music and Folk.
Tickets cost £5. Doors will open at 6.45pm and there will be a bar.
