DRAGON-drawing, Elvish lessons and magic cocktails will be among the treats at a JRR Tolkien extravaganza at Blackwells today.
The Broad Street bookshop is hosting events from 11am to 5pm to celebrate the Bodleian Library’s current exhibition on Tolkien. Most event are free and Middle Earth fancy dress is welcomed.
Organisers said: "Want to brush up your elvish, draw some dragons, or learn about the ways real-world history intersected with Middle Earth?
"Then head down to Broad Street for Blackwell's JRR Tolkien Day.
"Children can do crafts, attend a drawing workshop, or make their own Red Book of Westmarch to record their future adventures. Adults can try some Tolkien-themed cocktails at the evening's quiz, or listen to John Garth's talk about his research into Tolkien and his work."
