THIS magnificent group of hares will gain a new friend this weekend as a West Oxfordshire artist brings the collection's latest addition to life.
Rod Craig will paint 'blank canvas' hare Sher at The Real Wood Furniture Company's Chipping Norton Showrooms to create a sister for original hare Ronnie, far left.
On Saturday and Saturday from 12pm to 4pm, Mr Craig will give Sher a new coat in front of a live audience.
Spectators can enjoy a glass of prosecco while the hares enjoy their own tea party.
While the other hares are suited and booted or even decked out in flames, Ronnie is the only member of the group sporting a woody texture.
This harey tale began last year, when the company's principal Chris Bayliss sponsored Ronnie as his parting gift to Woodstock to mark the company moving to Chipping Norton.
