THE Wallingford Accessible Boat Club (WABC) has launched its fundraising appeal to help make their 'Wheelyboat vision' a reality.
Three major donors have jump-started the community project's drive to raise £65,000 by early next year.
The volunteer-led organisation, which has just upgraded its website, encourage able-bodied and disabled people into the water.
The project will be enabled by wheelchair-accessible powerboat, Coulam Wheelyboat V20.
WABC's Andrew Risk explained: " We are very grateful to the donors for their help – ‘early money’ makes such a difference."
