A NEW men's clothing shop is set to open in Oxford's Covered Market replacing a long-serving leather shop.
Leonard Jay will open its first store outside London at the beginning of next month.
The gentlemen's clothing firm has moved into the unit occupied by C. H. Brown and Son which closed last year after more than 44 years.
It is the second new business to open in the market in recent months after the Souvlaki Brothers.
Director, Matthew Jacobs, said: "We are very excited to open up its first store outside of London and could think of nowhere better than Oxford's Covered Market.
"A third generation family-owned gentleman’s outfitters, specialising in English Heritage Town and Country wear, will hopefully fit perfectly in the historic and quaint market in the centre of Oxford.
"We expect there to be great synergy between the Covered Market and a brand which focuses on tradition and history in gentlemen’s attire."
