THE INQUEST into the death of a pensioner who died following a head-on crash near East Hanney has been opened.
Oxford Coroner’s Court heard how Pat Robinson, 70, died whilst driving along the A338 when a car crossed the carriageway and ploughed into her car.
It happened on June 4 shortly before midday and closed the road for many hours.
The court heard yesterday how Mrs Robinson, from Wantage, was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital but died on July 5.
It was said in court it is believed she died from multiple injuries from both the crash and surgery complications.
A full inquest will be held on December 4.
