BANBURY MAGISTRATES’

LEE BROMLEY, 42, of no fixed abode, admitted stealing a perfume set and handbag valued at £181.98 from TK Maxx, Banbury, on May 28 and failing to surrender to custody. He was jailed for 14 days suspended for 12 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £115 and a fine of £40.

MARTIN D’ARCY, 48, of Coltsfoot Square, Oxford, admitted drink-driving on Buckland Road, Buckland on May 27. Had 56mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath. He also admitted having a quantity of cannabis and obstructing a constable. He was fined £240 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85 and disqualified from driving for 12 months.

RICHARD EDWARDS, 33, of Denmark Road, Gloucester, admitted stealing £5,510 from a woman in Witney between April 1 and 15. He was jailed for 16 weeks suspended for 18 months and made subject to a community order to include a rehabilitation activity requirement for 20 days and unpaid work for 120 hours. He must also pay compensation totalling £5,510.

GIUSEPPE GRASSI, 42, of Sinclair Avenue, Banbury, admitted speeding at 37mph in a 30mph zone in Chipping Norton on September 21. He was fined £115 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85 and his driving licence was endorsed with three penalty points.

DAVID RIMMER, 34, of Edward Street, Banbury, was convicted of driving without insurance on January 16 at Bicester. He was fined £500 and must pay a victim surcharge of £50 and court costs of £85 and he was disqualified from driving for six months.

RACHEL UPCRAFT, 44, of Briary Way, Carterton, was convicted of driving without insurance on November 19 at Witney. She was fined £120 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and was disqualified from driving for six months.

AMY CLARE, 24, of Bertie Place, Oxford, admitted obstructing a constable in the execution of their duty on June 26 at Bertie Place, Oxford. She was given a conditional discharge for nine months and must pay a victim surcharge of £20 and court costs of £40.

GEORGE FORD, 20, of Swinbrook Road, Shipton-under-Wychwood, admitted drink-driving and failing to stop after an accident on June 9 at Cedar Road, Carterton. Had 65mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath. He was fined a total of £600 and must pay a victim surcharge of £36 and court costs of £85 and was disqualified from driving for 18 months.

AIDEN BOOTH, 19, of Kingsway, Banbury, admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order by failing to attend unpaid work on April 29 and May 13. He was fined £50.

OXFORD MAGISTRATES’

Emma Chandler, 26, of Knights Road, Oxford, admitted drink-driving in Iffley Road on May 26. Had 117mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, exceeding the limit of 35mcg. A community order was made and she was placed under curfew for eight weeks with electronic monitoring. Must pay a victim surcharge of £85 and court costs of £85. Disqualified from driving for 26 weeks.

JOSEPH MALCOLM NOLAN, 37, of Luther Street, Oxford was convicted of handling stolen credit cards in Abingdon on September 18 and using those credit cars on a number of occasions between September 30 and October 9. He also admitted possessing heroin and cocaine in Abingdon in October 18. A community order was made and he must attend drug rehabilitation for six months. Must pay compensation of £106.32.

ANDRE BERLEY, 30, of Sandy Lane, Oxford, admitted possessing cannabis in Oxford on June, 27, 2017. Conditionally discharged for 12 months, must pay a victim surcharge of £20 and court costs of £50.

JAMIE DEAN LEWIS, 22, of Jersey Road, Oxford, admitted assaulting a man and sexually touching a woman without her consent in Plush in Park End Street, Oxford on March 11. A community order was made and he must attend rehabilitation for 20 days. Must pay £300 compensation, an £85 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.

JULIA SHAW, 41, of Meadow View Road, Kennington, admitted failing to notify a local authority of a change in circumstances that would affect entitlement to housing benefit. Fined £120, must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £40.

IZMIR BRAHO, 34, of Berry Croft, Abingdon, admitted failing to provide a specimen for analysis when required in Abingdon Police Station on April 8. Community order made and he must carry out 100 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months. Must pay a victim surcharge of £85, £300 court costs. Disqualified from driving for 20 months.

CHRIS MARVIN LOUIE HAINES, 35, of Sawpit Road, Oxford admitted drink-driving in Oxford Road, Cowley on May 27. Had 52mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, exceeding the limit of 35mcg. Also drove a motor vehicle without insurance or a licence in Oxford Road, Cowley on May 27. Fined £300, must pay a victim surcharge of £30, £85 court costs. Disqualified from driving for 14 months.

HEMA AKHTER, 22, of Leon Close, Oxford, was convicted of failing to give information relating to the identity of a driver suspected of committing an offence between February 6 and March 6. Fined £660, must pay a victim surcharge of £66 and court costs of £85. Six penalty points.

DONATO CAPPIELLO, 47, of Woodfield, Oxford admitted speeding at 62mph in a 40mph zone in the A41, Bicester on November 15. Fined £353, must pay a victim surcharge of £35 and court costs of £85. Four penalty points.

ALTIN GASHI, 25, of Mallard Close, Oxford was convicted of failing to give information relating to the identity of a driver suspected of committing an offence between January 1 and February 12. Fined £660, must pay a victim surcharge of £66 and court costs of £85. Six penalty points.
