A CLEANING blitz will take place in Littlemore over the next two weeks in a bid to spruce up the area.
The city council’s Oxford Direct Services team will be tackling litter hotspots, dog fouling, cigarette butts, tidying garden and clearing gullies.
Giles Street, Alice Smith Square and surrounding side streets have been singled for dog fouling patrols and officers will take enforcement action if necessary.
Champion Way, Priory Road and Cowley Road will be priorities for an ‘intensive wash’ when the blitz begins on Monday.
