A CHARITY who teach youngsters about coding, building and novel materials like thermochromic paint has bagged a national award for its work.
Science Oxford– who aim to bridge the gap of science and young people– were crowned 'Provider of the Year' for their 'world of work programme' in the annual Careers and Enterprise Company (CEC) awards.
The scheme encourages and supports children to explore STEM careers– jobs in science, technology, engineering and maths.
From 2017-2018 the work programme officially reached more than 2000 secondary school students– which Science Oxford say is a figure that continues to grow everyday.
