MILITARY aircraft spotted flying above Oxfordshire could be connected to the US President's upcoming visit.
Kerry Ralph sent in a video of aircraft sailing through the sky, thought to be MV-22 Osprey used by American military, flying above Begbroke this afternoon [Monday].
TRUMP VISIT: WHAT WE KNOW SO FAR
They appeared to be flanked by smaller VH-60 helicopters, which are said to be among models in the President's fleet.
Reader Emily Connally sent in this picture on this afternoon [Monday] of the same sight above Kidlington at around 3pm.
Used by the United States Airforce, the MV-22s are a 'titlrotar' aircraft that can take off and land vertically but also complete long distance journeys.
Ollie Brake, a military aviation enthusiast and photographer, said the aircraft were part of the Presidential Transport Squadron and likely to be scouting areas where Donald Trump will be visiting later this week.
The aircraft have been in the UK since Saturday and are based at RAF Northolt in the London Borough of Hillingdon, according to Mr Brake.
President Trump will dine at Blenheim Palace on Thursday with the Prime Minister Theresa May before touring the rest of the country.
He is likely to be greeted with mass protests and hundreds of people have pledged to gather at the gates of the palace to oppose the controversial figure.
Blenheim has now confirmed it will be closed for a 'significant Government event' and tried to reassure people it should go 'as smoothly as possible'.
We are closed for a significant Government event on 11th and 12th July and will re-open on 13th July. Please rest assured we are working closely with the British and US Governments to ensure the event goes as smoothly as possible.
