BANBURY MAGISTRATES

PATRICK WHEARTY, 49, of Normandy Crescent, Oxford, was convicted of five counts of failing to identify a driver between November 7 2016 and December 15 2016 at Banbury. He was fined £120 for each count and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and his driving licence was endorsed with six penalty points.

MARK PREEDY, 39, of Steeple Aston, Oxfordshire, admitted breaching the terms of a restraining order by contacting a woman on May 4 as well as being in possession of a bladed article. He was made subject to a community order to include unpaid work for 40 hours and must pay a victim surcharge of £85 and court costs of £85.

ASHLEY ENGLISH, 28, of no fixed abode, admitted failing to comply with the notification requirements of the sex offenders register by failing to provide police with an address between May 1 and November 17 at Banbury. He was fined £120 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85.

MARK SMITH, 53, of Park Close, Bladon, was convicted of speeding by driving 40 mph in a 30 mph area at Botley Road, Oxford, on September 21. He was fined £230 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85 and was disqualified from driving for six months.

EDWARD BENNETT, 39, of Preston Crowmarsh, Wallingford, was convicted of using a vehicle without third party insurance on February 8 at Stokenchurch. He must pay a victim surcharge of £85 and court costs of £85 and his driving licence was endorsed with six penalty points.

NATHAN BUCKLAND, 34, of Cuxham Road, Watlington, admitted using a mobile phone while driving at the M40 Buckinghamshire on February 25. He was fined £100 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £40 and his driving licence was endorsed with six penalty points.

ALAN WALLIS, 39, of Ewelme Down Farm, Wallingford, admitted speeding by driving in excess of 70 mph on February 4 on the M40, Oxfordshire. He was fined £280 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85 and he was disqualified from driving for 28 days.

MICHAEL BENNION, 39, of Elton Road, Banbury, admitted being in charge of a vehicle while above the legal alcohol limit on May 26 at Avocet Way, Banbury. Had 105 mcg of alcohol in 100 ml of breath. He was fined £403 and must pay a victim surcharge of £40 and court costs of £85 and was disqualified from driving for 56 days.

MARK DICKEN, 44, of Ashdene Road, Bicester, admitted being in charge of a vehicle while unfit to drive through drink on May 20 at Chesterton, Bicester. He was fined £1,000 and must pay a victim surcharge of £100 and court costs of £85 and was disqualified from driving for nine months.

ALEXANDER JOHN THOMPSON EVANS BURROWS, 50, of no fixed abode, admitted to damaging a front door in Cowley Road, Oxford, on April 23. Fined £100 and victim surcharge £30.

MAURO CESAR, 34, of Abingdon Road, Oxford, admitted to driving without a suitable licence or insurance on the M40 in Oxfordshire on December 19. Fined £300, victim surcharge £30 and costs £85. Six penalty points.

TILLY VIVIEN CHOWN, 76, of Rawlinson Road, Oxford, was convicted of driving at 35mph in Woodstock Road, Oxford, a 30mph zone, on July 16. Fined £300, victim surcharge £30 and costs £85. Four penalty points.

MARTYNAS DILINSKAS, 25, of Hanower Circle, Hayes, Oxford, admitted to driving in Montrose Avenue, in Slough, Berkshire, without insurance on October 7. Fined £807, victim surcharge £80 and costs £85. Banned from driving for six months.

TRACEY ANN JONES, 53, of Clover Fields, Didcot, was convicted of driving at 39mph in Shirburn Road, Watlington, a 30mph zone, on August 15. Fined £100 and victim surcharge £30. Three penalty points.

AARON PETER SMITH, 36, of Shepherds Hill, Oxford, was convicted of using a handheld device while driving on the A34 in Hinksey on December 3. Fined £130, victim surcharge £30 and costs £85. Six penalty points.

MONIKA ELZBIETA TRATKIEWICZ, 52, of Stubbs Avenue, Headington, admitted to driving at 36mph on Woodstock Road, Oxford, a 30mph zone, on August 6. Fined £100, victim surcharge £30 and costs £85.

WILLIAM JONATHON BRAZIL, 40, of Cowley Road, Littlemore, admitted to burgling a shed at a property in Bulan Road, Oxford, and stealing tools valued at £1,300 between March 9 and March 12. Prison sentence of 14 weeks suspended for18 months. Compensation £500 and victim surcharge £115.

ROGER REECE RADBURN, 42, of Trinity Road, Oxford, admitted to stealing a bag valued at £95 from Hugo Boss in the Westgate Centre on April 10; stealing food valued at £12.90 from Tesco in Oxford Retail Park on May 18; and stealing a holdall valued at £149 from Marks and Spencers in Queen Street, Oxford, on May 7. Jailed for 13 weeks. Compensation £149 and victim surcharge £51.

ERIC ROBERT AUSTIN, 48, of Friars Wharf, Oxford, admitted to using threatening words or behaviour and assaulting a woman by beating her in Magdalen Street, Oxford, on May 15. Jailed for 14 days. Compensation £150.

ELLIS ADAMS, 20, of Hamel Walk, Oxford, admitted to damaging the bonnet of a Vauxhall Corsa and a window above a front door in Green Ridges, causing approximately £700 of damage, on May 2. Community order made. Compensation £700, victim surcharge £85 and costs £85.

JAMIE GODDARD, 25, of Nightingale Avenue, Oxford,was convicted of stealing meat and coffee valued at £70 from the Co-o in Oxford on March 16. Community order made. Victim surcharge £85.
