TRAFFIC is now flowing smoothly after a crash in Witney plunged the town's roads into standstill.
An elderly driver crashed into two cars at the mini-roundabout where Woodstock Road meets Newland.
His car then careered into a disused shop, damaging the building, before hitting another car and then colliding with a wall.
He sustained injuries to his leg and foot while a woman in one of the first two cars suffered with whiplash.
A family of four - two adults, a toddler and a baby - also in one of the first cars hit, are being checked over by paramedics. It appears that injuries, if any, are only minor.
An air ambulance landed in a playing field off Newland.
Fire crews were also on the scene.
